Legoland 6x8 Mini Travel Album | part iii | Heartlake City, Pirates Cove, Miniland, Chima, and Star Wars

HEARTLAKE CITY

I thought Heartlake City was so fun and well done.  I wish there were more rides, though.
The purple Lego paper is from Scrapbook Customs Building Blocks collection, the alpha is  Pinkfresh Studio's Life Noted Puffy Yellow Alpha and I made the journaling card from an image of Heartlake City from the internet.  I added fun Lego charm embellishments from my daughter's extra pieces.

But, there were tons of photo opportunities.  Maya was loving each character.

The only ride there is Mia's Riding Adventure.  The kids rode it several times in a row.  We were so happy we picked an off day for our vacation (I guess our Spring Break is early?)
Lots of extra pieces glued to this page with glue dots.  The horse sticker came from a Lego Friends Activity Book.

PIRATES COVE

We stopped and sat to watch the waterskiing show at Pirates Cove.  They make it look so easy!  Afterward we had a snack at Granny's Apple Fries.  Super yummy, we got ours à la mode!
Pinkfresh Studio's Life Noted Puffy Yellow Alpha, and both templates are from Paislee Press.
I wanted to include the minifigures the kids made to take home, but they are too bulky to put in the album.  I decided to just photograph them and include them on this insert.  They look very lifelike!

CHIMA

Chima was a great place to cool off with lots of water features.  We were glad we hit it at the very end of the day!

The filler card is Sahlin Studios and the sticker is Lego Chima Factivity book.

MINILAND

I had lots of photos to include from miniland, but didn't want it to drag on for pages.  I was able to get them all in one spread by using Simple Stories Photo Flips that just stick to the page.
Tabs are from Post-It
Here is a look at them with them all open.

STAR WARS

I decided to divide all the Star Wars Miniland photos into their movie group.  I pulled up the movie logo off the web to make the titles uniform.
Template is from Paislee Press.

The Clone Wars happened chronologically between Episodes ii and iii.  I decided to put a little insert in between the pages to document it.

That finishes off the Legoland portion of the album!
