So I've gained some new skills. In the layout below I've learned how to make my own stitching using a brush. JessicaSprague.com offers mini-classes that teach you a skill or two. I made this page in 15 minutes. The class comes with everything you need: template, papers, elements, etc. All you need is a photo and a little bit of ambition. Give it a try!
